Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

  1. Learn the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

  2. This course is suitable for people who need to conduct annual refresher training, maintain workplace skills or those who simply want to learn how to save a life.

  3. The course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to manage a life-threatening emergency and deliver rescue breathing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation to a person with no signs of life.

  4. You will also learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Personal Protective Equipment including disposable face shields.

 

Entry Requirements
There are no formal academic requirements for this qualification however, ICOE requires that all learners:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have the physical capacity to perform sustained CPR for at least two minutes

  • Successfully complete the pre-enrolment interview; and

  • Successfully complete the Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment

  • Course Fee: $60

  • Duration: 4 hours  

Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the

Statement of Attainment for:
